Screen Shot 2016-06-26 at 8.57.34 AMAfter months, weeks, and days preparing her mind and body for combat inside Urban Sprawl Fitness and countless hours sharpening technique with her MMAGOLD coaches and teammates, Brieta “Tank Girl” Carpenter (am 8-2) only required ten seconds to dismantle her opponent, Serena “The Southpaw Outlaw” Dejesus (am 4-1), for the Tuff-N-Uff bantamweight title at Tuff-N-Uff: Pack the Mack.

Leaving the quiet atmosphere of El Dorado Hills, California for the kaleidoscope of colors lighting up Las Vegas, Nevada, Carpenter was aware the June 25, 2016 fight with Dejesus would be her last as an amateur. Though the evening’s winners of Tuff-N-Uff belts were awarded professional contracts with Pancrase MMA, the naturally built flyweight already signed the dotted line to debut as a pro for Global Knockout (GKO) on August 27, 2016 at GKO 7.
